Answer: The program runs for roughly 20 months. For Year 1, classes begin in September and run through May. For Year 2, classes begin in September, and run through the BankSim and Graduation in March/April.
Answer: In a way, yes. At the end of the first year, you are required to submit a substantial research project: The First Year Major Paper. This project is designed to test your knowledge of the subjects covered up to that point. Successful completion of the Major Paper is required to advance to the second year of the program.
Answer: There is an annual tuition amount, which will cover the monthly sessions - hotel, breakfast and lunch, any handouts, program materials, etc.
Additionally, there is a separate fee for each Resident Session - one at the beginning of each school year in September, as well as the Closing Resident Session with BankSim and Graduation.

Answer: Classes are held monthly at the Courtyard by Marriot in Cromwell, CT throughout the duration of the program. The only classes not located in Cromwell are the 3 Resident Sessions at the beginning of each year and the end of Year 2. The Resident Sessions are held at the Trumbull Marriott Hotel in Trumbull, CT.
Answer: To date, there have been over 2,600 students that have successfully completed the CSFM program since it's inception in the Fall of 1962.
Answer: The CSFM September Resident Session is the opening session to the upcoming school year. The "Senior" class will be returning for the start of their second and final year of the program, beginning with a welcome reception later in the afternoon. The session also gives us an opportunity to welcome the incoming "Freshmen" class, which will spend a few days getting introduced to the program as well as each other, in a fun and engaging orientation environment.
All of this culminates in the final session of 4 days, offered at the end of Year 2, involving the Bank Simulation program and followed by the Graduation Ceremonies and reception.
Answer: First, speak to your manager or immediate supervisor about your interest in the program - your bank may have a specific process for interested candidates. Secondly, you can check with your bank's HR department. Most will be familiar with the CSFM program and can help guide you through the next steps at your institution.
